Do you currently administer an HA installation of Tableau Server and want to know more about it? Either way, this session is for you. In this session, you’ll learn what an HA installation is, how to configure a server for HA, and how to add a failover gateway. We’ll also cover changes to high availability in 9.0 as well as common scenarios you may face as an admin. We’ll even discuss how you can use Tableau Server logs to investigate issues on your own!

In this session you’ll learn about Tableau’s Extract API, JavaScript API, and the new kid on the block – our REST API for server management. We’ll cover each at a high-level, demonstrate an application which takes advantage of each feature set and then dive into several “outside the box” uses of the technology.
