Mmm…..waffles. Jesse has been around at Tableau longer than most of us, but remains the young Turk – he’s constantly coming up with fun stuff to do with Tableau.

Here’s something he whipped up this morning that I thought was cool and asked if I could post on his behalf. In the man’s own words:

“… I actually kinda like these for exec-looking dashboards (in other words, not-best-practice-but-cool-looking dashboards)”

“How to:  Use the dataset in the workbook.  Blend any percentage to it you want.  Write a calc such as the ‘color’ one to compare an index of 1-100 against the percentage and color boxes accordingly.  Format.”
